I farmed Level 40 Mai yesterday and got 3 of each SR after only like 1k green keys. I was getting 6-8k DA. The drop rate is definitely way better than before the GX update. I think if you're able to get 6-8k consistently then you're better off farming level 40. Otherwise you'll spend a lot more time trying to get 3 of one SR farming a level 10 .
